We think about you every day over here in Jersey; we have been glued to the phone waiting to hear updates. We were so happy to hear that things are looking on the up and up -- (although I am not surprised, all Grochala's are tough as nails).
Grandpop's birthday is on Friday (11/14) and he isn't asking for anything from anyone -- he only asks that we pray for you and that you recover. The good vibes are clearly working and it seems you are getting them from all over the country. You are well loved.

Hey Carter, I havent heard from you for a long time and now i get to here these tragic news. I was deeply in shock when I read the mail about your awful condition...since then me and my family have been thinking of you constantly and been hoping and wishing for the best. Apparently our and the wishes of all of your friends have come true and youre doing better, which is great to hear. I was scared we might never see each other again... now im wishing that you will return to your old great self and dont have any permanent injuries! Hopefully i'll have the time and money to visit you in new orleans or old coach road :)I miss all of you guys! get well soon & take care !

The Kerwin Clan are praying for you buddy. It was a huge blow to hear about your news, but we all know you're going to come out of this all good. I personally need you to recover fast for several reasons.
1. No one gets my retro throwback 80's music choices quite like you. Whether it be Finally by CeCe Peniston or my collection of Hall and Oates bangers. It really warms my heart when I play a song and all of a sudden I hear "Yes, yes Kerwin I love it!" and I turn around and see my old friend Carter the Cat.
2. What am I going to do when Bond and Turd get into their Republican Manifesto's. I have no one to come back at them with because if Jack comes to back me up all we'll hear is "Oh, soooo typical. Gay twins have to back each other up like always" (Brett voice).
3. What am I going to do when I get politely asked to leave my residence for an extended period of time this summer. There is only so much Johnny Cash a man can take in the Bond household. Even though I do love El.
4. Movie nights are not going to be the same until you are back. Whose going to find that rare German Indie film that only you and big George know? They always have the right subtle amount of violence, satire and of course the occasional breast.
5. You are a very big part of our group and a huge reason why all of us gucci guys are so close. Whether it be spending a week at the Brigantine house or the many nights where we crash at your house only to be waken up by the morning sunlight, and only once with the bright flash of a police light in our eyes.
We love you buddy. Can't wait to catch up with you when you are fully recovered and healthy. Thank you Quint for setting this up and the whole Grochala family. You guys really are the best.

Not a day goes by without the Big Ham reminiscing on those summer days in your backyard, absolutely killing it on the VBall court. All those awesome memories make this experience that much more painful. We all hate to see you like this but we also all know that a Grochala doesn't go down without a fight. I expect nothing less than to see you at 2nd Thanksgiving reciting the Independence Day speech in place of Sean Don while we all laugh and scream profanities at you. Just remember: If its and buts was candies and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas.
